You can prevent or block access to the Settings and Edit buttons. You can set up a password to prevent unauthorized access to Settings and Edit.


For version 6.6


To set a password

  1. Tap on Menu.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Password protection
  4. Tap Set password.
  5. Enter the password that you want to set. 


   To remove the password to Settings and Edit buttons

  1. Tap on Menu.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Password protection
  4. Tap Remove password.

  5. You are asked to confirm the deletion. Once you confirm the password is removed.


To change the password to Settings and Edit buttons

  1. Tap on Menu.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Password protection
  4. Tap Change password and enter the new 



For version lower than 6.6.


There are two ways by which you can prevent access to the top menu (Settings / Edit buttons)


1) By Guided Access

You can use the Guided Access option of iOS to disable certain sections of the app screen and prevent them from being accessed or activated by the child. (Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access).

1) By Setting up password for Settings and Edit. 


  1. Tap the Settings button.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Add Password
  3. Enter the new password.
  4. Confirm the password by re-entering the password and tap Done
