Sometimes, you don't want the audio to be spoken every time that a button is selected, but you want the app to speak out only the final message is spoken out. This is especially useful in an inclusive set up (where it can be disturbing for other students in the class) or for an advanced communicator who doesn't require the audio support for selection of the words, but needs the audio only to communicate the sentence to the communication partner. 


To enable this setting:

  1. Tap the Menu > Settings icon on the top right corner (Menu next to Help icon) of the Avaz screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Audio Settings section.
  3. Tap the What to speak button (refer to Screenshot below)
  4. Tap the 'Speak only message box’ option. This disables audio for all taps, and enables audio only when the Message box is tapped.
