You can restore a backup from .avt or .avz file to Avaz app vocabulary from your laptop:

Note: The steps below are for a specific iTunes version (12.7.x) and it may differ in other versions)

  1. Plug in your iPad to your laptop using a USB cable. 
  2. Launch iTunes on your computer if it doesn't launch automatically.
  3. Select your iPad in iTunes. 
  4. Tap Apps from the left panel.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Avaz app from the left panel  This displays the list of files in the Documents panel on the right. 
  6. Tap Add File button on the bottom of the right panel

  7. Select the backup file that you want to copy from your laptop and click Open.

  8.  The selected backup file is restored to the iPad and you will see it in the list of documents.


  9. Tap the Sync button to synchronise. 

  10. Now Launch the Avaz US Lite App-->Settings-->Back up and Restore.

  11. The Synced back up file will appear below.

  12. Tap the new backup file to be restored to your Avaz app (For Italian app, tap on italiano_avaz.avz )

  13. Tap on Replace button and Tap on Restore. This will restore the vocabulary to your device.
