For Avaz version 8.0 and above:
Avaz Settings provides a method of fading away the visual prompt of Color codes. You can remove or fade away the color code in the app by tapping Menu>Settings > Picture Grid>Color coding (under Picture settings appearance).
You can either color code the background or reduce it to a horizontal stripe or remove the color code entirely.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Picture Grid.
- Tap Color Coding.
- For Color coding you can choose from the following options:
- Don't color code - this removes all color coding entirely.
- Color code background - this has a full color-coded background,
- Color-code stripe - this allows a thin stripe of color to be displayed on the top of the icon. This is a fading strategy that allows partial color coding which reduces the visual prompt.

- Scroll through Settings. Under Picture settings (Appearance), tap Color Coding setting.
