Jump to page is a new feature introduced from Avaz version 8.0 onwards.

The Jump to Page feature helps the user to automatically navigate to a folder. This navigation reduces the number of taps or selections required. For instance, selecting the word "go" can be set up to directly navigate to the "Places" folder, or tapping "eat" can automatically open the "Food" folder, or "play" can open "Toys" folder, enabling faster communication with fewer taps.

How to set up Jump to page?

For example, let's set up to make the icon "eat" jump to "Snacks" folder:

  1. Navigate to Menu>Edit Words.
  2. Select the eat icon and tap Change from the bar above.

  3. The Update Word window opens up. Here, tap on Advanced tab.

  4. Tap on Actions.

  5. Under Add action options, select Jump to page.

  6. A Search box comes up for you to Search for the folder to jump to. Enter Food in the search box. Food folder is displayed below. Tap to select it. Tap Done on the top right corner.

  7. Tap Save again from the top right.

  8.  Eat word will have a little arrow mark on the top left, indicating that when you tap this word, it would "jump" to some folder, in this case - Food folder under Actions.

  9. Whenever you tap the word eat, it will automatically take you to the Food folder, saving you an extra tap.
