For Avaz ver less than 6.6:
Avaz does not directly provide a setting for you to turn off either the Alert button, nor the Mistake button.
However there are two workarounds that you can try, if you are using either the picture or the keyboard modes only:
1. Using Guided Access
You can use Guided Access to disable that portion of your screen, which displays the buttons. Click here on How to set up Guided Access.
However, the limitation in this method is that the location of the Alert button is different in the keyboard and picture modes. Hence it may not be a solution if you require the use of both modes.
2. Using Arrow keys instead of the page swipe
You can replace the Alert button with the arrow keys, which replace the action of page swipe. Click here to see How to turn off Page Swipe.
However, this method will replace the Alert button only in the keyboard mode and not for the picture mode. This is useful if you are using the picture mode only.
Apart from these, we do not have any other method of turning off the Alert button or Mistake button for the current version of Avaz.
