For Avaz version 8.0 and above
You have the option to personalize the message spoken out aloud when you tap the Mistake button, located in the Side Navigation bar. This is a new feature introduced in Ver 8.0. Click here to know What is the Mistake Button?
The default message spoken out is "You made a mistake". This message can be personalized by either changing the message or recording your voice, or uploading an audio file. This feature can be useful for the AAC user to listen to a different message or a more familiar voice.
To customize the Mistake button:
- Tap on Menu.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Picture grid.
- Tap on Change Side Navigation Bar.
- Under Custom Settings, tap "I made a mistake" to access the customization options for the mistake button.
- You can do the following to customize the audio of the Mistake button:
- Tap the Speaker icon / button to listen to the message that will be spoken on tap of the button
- Tap the Mike button to record your voice
- Tap the Trash can button to delete the custom message
- Tap the Up-arrow button to upload an audio file.
- Tap Save button to save the changes to the audio of the Mistake button.
