I am using Avaz on Android and iPad. Can I copy Avaz content across both interchangeably?

Yes, there is cross-platform compatibility between the Android and iOS versions of Avaz. Content can be transferred across devices, through backups. 

However, there are some constraints that need to be kept in mind:

• If the two version numbers of Avaz apps are the same, the backups will be entirely compatible.
• However if the version numbers of Avaz are different on both platforms, they are not completely compatible. The backups are forward compatible - that is, a backup from a lower version can be restored by the later version, but not vice versa.  
• E.g. if the iPad version is 4.2 and that of Avaz Android is ver 3.2.3 - then the Android backup can be restored by the iPad app, but the iPad backup cannot be restored on the Android app.
