The concept of user Account is available only from Avaz ver 6.6 onwards.
What does "deleting the account" mean?
It means that the user data is deleted from our records permanently and we will not be able to trace the user account in our database. Once the user deletes their account, this action is irreversible.
Difference between the behaviour of "Delete Account" in Android and iOS
- In Android: When you delete your account, the account (and user data) is deleted across all devices. For e.g. if you have deleted your account in one device, you will not be recognized in another device as a registered user.
- In iOS: When you delete your account, the app asks if you want to delete your account in this device. This action is only on the current device and not on the other devices where you may have Avaz with the same account.
Steps to delete your account from Avaz
1. Go to Settings > Account details
2. Tap Delete account
3. A window pops up for a confirmation of the Account deletion and all it's associated information. Please note that the action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted it cannot be restored.
